In Brighton & Hove, Tall Building Statements should include 3D modelling in their urban design assessment, particularly to assess visual impact, as well as impact on strategic and local views.

In their June 2021 Urban Design Framework, on Tall Building Statements, Brighton & Hove City Council stated 'an urban design assessment, including a 3D modelling and analysis, within the proposal’s area of visual impact to support the appropriateness of the site for taller development.' See page 59.
