HARWELL CAMPUS
Based in the Oxfordshire countryside, Harwell Campus is the UK’s leading science and technology campus. Harwell is in the UK's Golden Triangle and located in Science UK, a UK Enterprise Zone.
Harwell commissioned VU.CITY to build a digital twin of the campus to highly realistic level of detail. Using both photogrammetry and ground sourced scans and high resolution photography, the results are incredibly realistic for both building structures and infrastructure.
The first use of the digital twin will be to provide comprehensive understanding of the context for planned wide scale development.
Ultimately, the digital twin can also be utilised by the estate owners for asset management purposes and also by the numerous tenant occupiers on the campus too.
